Glass Soup Bowls and What They Demand from a Chef A soup course sets the tone for everything that follows. It arrives first. It establishes the kitchen’s intention, the restaurant’s aesthetic, and the guest’s expectations for the meal ahead. Glass soup bowls make that opening statement with a clarity that no other material can replicate.
